This is a logo based on the artwork from the “DDD 12' record”. I don’t regard this as my personal logo or the logo of DDD. It is a bastard child of both.

I don’t know if you can call it a logo. It is not representing anything. It is a self-contained icon. Put in to this world for its own sake. I regard this as a personal experiment with visual identity. I worked on different variations. Trying out the idea of a very fluid and varying identity. Beside the flat version I did different monochrome and italic versions. I also designed some 3D and circular versions.

The idea was to do many different variations on the same basic logo. I wanted to explore the possibilities of a logo taking many different forms and appearances but still retaining the same look and feeling. This is an ongoing experiment and I have more planned for this project in the future.
