Cover artwork for Dansk Dubstep Design (Danish Dubstep Design) a group consisting of Ballistics and Don Skeleton.
The concept for this design was to take influence from several things and put them into at strict grid based system. Here are some of the things reflected in the design: Financial stats, the colour bar-system from Peter Seville’s notorious Blue Monday single artwork, a music sequencer, the info graphics of Tour De France, the alps of Switzerland and proof marks. All things are either a part of my work as a graphic designer or Dansk Dubstep Designs process of creating music or simply just things that surrounds us.
The idea was to avoid a very outspoken concept, which could be easily depicted. I wanted to make the cover seem more underplayed and mystical. You don’t have to understand all the various influences they are merely a part of the process not the message.
